On June 14, 2008 permission was granted for "The Soup" on the LMA:
"Hello.
My Name is Brian Riordan, I am with a band called "The Soup" and we wish to allow tapers to submit recordings of our shows.
Here is our policy:
We are the band formerly known as "The Super American Happy Fun Good time Jamband" Now we are called "The Soup"
And recordings of our band before July 2008 shall be submitted under "The Super American Happy Fun Good Time Jamband"
Any Recordings from July 2008 and later shall be submitted under "The Soup"
